Boston’s Bruins: The Team I Love to Hate

First off i would like to preface this by saying in no way, shape, or form do I typically enjoy seeing any team from New England succeeding. In fact I’m kind of sick of it, but you know what? I’m kind of a Big Bruins Guy right now. They are the the epitome of the team that I love to hate.

After a 2-1 win last night over the Carolina Hurricanes the Bruins have taken a commanding 3-0 series lead and are one win away from punching their ticket to their 3rd Stanley Cup Final appearance in the last decade. Pretty impressive if you ask me. I’m gonna quote every Boston ever and say that “The Fahkin Big Bad Bruins are Back, this is wicked awesome Kid”

But their continued success is not why I dislike this team it’s a good amount of the players that are very polarizing. I mean find me another team that has a more annoying duo than Brad Marchand and David Backes…I would also like to clarify that these two goofs are both incredible at hockey and if they played for the Blackhawks I would be happy AF.

But then you look at the things that are appealing about this team: the history, the culture, the heavy style of hockey that I wish the Blackhawks would play; Having arguably the best Face Off Man and one of the best two-way forwards in Patrice Bergeron, and let’s not forget about this stupidly big flag, that the fans pass around like a doobie at home games…I Love It

So basically I’m picking the Bruins to win it all. The only remaining team that has a shot at beating them is St. Louis but I think Boston is just the better team depth-wise, also their power play is straight sex, and they have Gronk on their side. Watch out other 3 teams in the playoffs, you’re on notice because the Big Bad Bruins are coming to town and they are gonna Pahk Their Cah at Hahvad Yahd

  1. I’m glad you can appreciate the Bruins. We think they are the Best team, and we are also still Blackhawk fans after all these years! The Best team will win, I hope it’s our Bruins! Love you.
