So tomorrow is Easter Sunday. You know what that means if you’re a parent. Yep, you need to suffer through Easter Egg hunts with your children. So Christine, McKenzie, and myself went to the Easter Egg Hunt in the Woodstock today. McKenzie got like four Eggs, it was unorganized, she was sad, i was pissed. Before we left I noticed a Food Truck parked right in the Square, it was big and red and said “Wood Fired Pizza” right on the side. Now, if you know me you know that I A) Love Pizza, and B) Love Food Trucks. So of course I got one, and holy shit this pizza.
I got the Bacon Balsamic Pizza (per the recommendation of the Food Truck). They say that you eat with your eyes as much as you eat with your stomach and I could look at this pizza all day. It’s got all you need on it. It even got the Kenz Stamp of Approval. She’s a big pizza guy, you can trust her opinion.
Now lets get to the taste. Let me just say that i was disappointed. Yes i was disappointed that i never had this pizza before because it kicked ass. It’s salty, it’s sweet, its rich, its crunchy, the ingredients are quality, and the crust is cooked to perfection. I am currently fighting the urge to eat the rest of it before Christine tries it. Not only that but they also sell Lemonade Shake Ups and it might be the best one I’ve ever bought. Like it doesn’t taste like Lemon water with 8 cups of sugar like the ones you get at the fair. I mean I like that but if I want lemonade you better bring your A Game and this place brought it.
I can’t wait to try the rest of the pizzas that this food truck offers and if you live in Woodstock and haven’t tried this place yet. Shame on you because it really is a Diamond in the Rough. If you don’t live in Woodstock then please follow them on Facebook and Twitter because good food needs to be shared with the world.
But don’t take my word for it. Go try it for yourself…One bite and That’s Amore
P.S Let’s Make Your Sister’s Tomato the Official Pizza and Food Truck of the Warming Home. Let’s make it happen.
